Born and raised in the heart of the mid-west, it was obvious from a young age that Wendy would always be passionate about horses, a love she inherited from her mother, who is still seen in the show ring to this day.

Growing up her life revolved around riding multiple breeds, when she finally settled on Quarter Horses. During this time, she was also acquiring much needed business skills as she worked within her father's business, which was transformed from a hobby in the garage into a state-of-the-art firearms manufacturing facility.

She graduated William Woods University in 1999 with a degree in Business Administration and Equestrian Science. Wendy continued to show horses throughout college and after graduation, earning multiple AQHA all-arounds, superiors and a performance championship as well as numerous top-ten placings at the All-American Quarter Horse Congress in horsemanship and trail on her show mare, Intricate Invitation. Her most recent accomplishment with RPL My Te Cheerful was 2010 Congress Grand Champion and 2010 World Champion Amateur Geldings.

Wendy is married to Jeff Habighorst and together they have two daughters, Jacey and Jordan. Jeff and Wendy worked and traveled the show circuit together for Blue Ribbon Custom Tack for 4 years, when Wendy decided to combine her experience, contacts and talents as well as passion for fashion and textiles to acquire Show Me Again and create the widely popular establishment that it has become today.
