This has to be my favorite jacket of all time! This is a timeless, one-of-a-kind original by Julie Ewing, made exclusively for Show Me Again. Fully lined jacket starts with smooth brown leather, with oversized shoulders featuring fringe which crossed across the chest and back. Three real macaw feathers are artistically placed on the arms, but can easily be removed if necessary. The tiny, rough-cut waistline is heavily beaded with a river of pearls, bronze and copper stones, and well as huge chunks of solid turquoise stones, which is a centerpiece on the center back as well as both wrists. This beadwork is all done individually, painstakingly by Julie herself. The talent shown in the this jacket is unbelievable. Finished with copper leather applique and then sprinkled with oversized amber crystals, this jacket is a keepsake to be treasured for years! |
